Most founders build a strong foundation for their company.

Few build one for themselves.

ThriveLab helps founders and CEOs build the life foundation to become the person their vision demands.

Success in one dimension.

Quiet struggle in the rest.

Most founders and CEOs hit a point where the company has become the whole game. Calendar full. Growth happening. But the health, the relationships, the meaning, the financial freedom — has quietly fallen behind.

And the quality of your work — your thinking, your decisions, your leadership — quietly degrades with it.

From the outside, it looks like success. Inside, something doesn't add up.

This isn't a strategy problem. It's a foundation problem — because pressure amplifies whatever you're building from.

Ten years in the making — why ThriveLab exists

I was outwardly successful and inwardly struggling.

I started this work ten years ago. I had built real things. Led organizations. Driven growth. By every external measure, things were working.

But I was running on empty. Showing up poorly at home. Struggling to lead the way I knew I was capable of. The only pillar I was moving forward was work — and I was doing it at the expense of everything else.

The problem wasn't ambition or resources. It was that there's no obvious place to do this kind of work. Therapy is one lane. Business coaching is another. The deep integration work — identity, relationships, purpose, body, health, wealth, leadership all at once — doesn't really have a home.

Over the past decade I've done the work myself. I've read the books, gone deep on the programs, worked with the guides — great ones and terrible ones. I've found what works and discarded what doesn't. The person I am today — as a leader, a husband, a father — is unrecognizable from where I started.

I'm Matt Prindiville. I spent 20+ years as a founder and CEO — most recently at CLYNK, which I grew and led through an acquisition by TOMRA. I've advised the UN, World Economic Forum, and Fortune 500 companies. I've been featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Fast Company. And through all of it, I was doing the inner work — figuring out how to lead well, live fully, and build something that actually mattered.

ThriveLab is what I couldn't find when I started this journey — so I built it.

“What does it actually take to thrive — not just perform?”

— Matt Prindiville, Founder · ThriveLab

Programs I’ve done the work in:

ThriveLab helps founders
become the person
their vision demands.

Five months. Two retreats.
A room full of serious founders & CEOs.

The Cohort

4–8 founders / CEOs per cohort. This is not a networking group. It's a working room. Everyone is building something real and willing to be honest about what's working and what isn't.

Opening Retreat

Three days together in Rincón, Puerto Rico or Portland, Maine. Focused mornings, open afternoons, dinner together. This is where the real work begins.

Bi-Weekly Cohort Sessions

90-minute virtual working sessions every two weeks. Real decisions, real pressure-testing, real accountability.

Monthly Private Coaching

One-on-one with Matt each month. Your vision, your patterns, your authority, the shifts your life and business require.

Working Pairs + Community Platform

You're paired with another founder at the start — a built-in thinking partner between sessions. Pairs rotate at the midpoint so you build two deep relationships across five months. The cohort stays connected via a private Slack channel, and all program content lives on a dedicated membership platform.

Closing Retreat

We come back together. Same place, same group, different vantage point. You take stock of what's changed — and decide what comes next from a position of clarity.

We meet where you can breathe.

Puerto Rico or Maine. Pick your season.

Both retreats happen at my homes. With water views, terraces and a pool, Villa Playa sits above Sandy Beach in Rincón, Puerto Rico. 249 Spring Street is in the heart of Portland, Maine's West End. These are places that do something to you — before the work even begins.

Where we Gather

Rincón, Puerto Rico

November Cohort · Nov → April

Arrive for dinner. Two full days of focused work in the morning, open time in the afternoon — on the water, at the beach, in the surf. November and April in Puerto Rico are as good it gets.

Portland, Maine

May Cohort · May → October

Same idea — dinner and then two full days. Spring and fall in Maine at their finest — crisp air, harbor views, great food, and a city that rewards slow mornings.

The Work

This isn't just about your business. It's about your whole life.

Over five months we work across all five life pillars — because sustainable performance and genuine fulfillment require all five to be moving forward.

01 - Mind, Identity & Meaning

Who are you beyond the role? What do you actually believe — and what's holding you back from living it? Where does your sense of worthiness come from? And what does any of this actually mean — to you, on your own terms?

02 - Body, Health & Energy

Your body is the instrument everything else runs on. Sleep, movement, fuel — and the pursuits that actually restore you. Surfing, music, art, sport. The things that light you up aren't indulgences — they're essential.

03 - Relationships

Your loved ones. Your marriage or partnership. Your kids. Your team. High performance that comes at the cost of the people who matter most isn't high performance — it’s just loss.

04 - Work & Impact

Role clarity. Leadership authority. Strategic direction. The pillar most founders are already moving — the question is whether you're operating at the level you're capable of.

05 - Wealth & Stewardship

Not just money — real wealth. Time with the people you love. Work that matters. The freedom to pursue your passions. Most founders never stop to ask what they're actually building toward — or whether their financial life is creating freedom or just complexity. This is where we change that.

Five months. Transformed life.

All five pillars. Moving forward. Together.

ThriveLab is for founders & CEOs who are honest enough to admit something needs to change.

“I hired Matt to succeed me as CEO of CLYNK — and in less than three years, he grew the company faster than at any time in its history, positioning it as a dominant force in a volatile, quickly-evolving marketplace. His innovation was only surpassed by his skillful leadership managing and motivating a rapidly expanding workforce.”

Clayton Kyle, Founder of CLYNK and Executive Chairman

“In 45+ years in business, I've worked with and been exposed to a number of top-talent executives. In my opinion and experience, Matt Prindiville is at the very top of that class.”

Bob Schools, former SVP of Retail Operations — Hannaford Supermarkets, and CLYNK Board Member

“Matt delivers the kind of leadership today needs — bold, practical, and transformative. He helps organizations cut through complexity and scale impact.”

Marcus Eriksen, CEO and Co-Founder of 5 Gyres and LeapLab
